UICC’s Virtual Dialogues: a new suite of online services for members

Dear UICC members,

The cancer community is facing a wide range of challenges in its ability to come together and deliver its work, due to the shifting global dynamics. The coronavirus pandemic is placing huge demands on our resilience – whether personal, organisational or at the health system level – and UICC’s role in uniting and supporting our membership is more important than ever.

Following the letter that UICC’s President Princess Dina and myself wrote to you announcing the changes to UICC’s operating model in 2020, it is exciting to share with you the launch of this new suite of virtual services.

Starting Wednesday 20^th May, with its first Member Dialogue, there will be regular opportunities for members to connect with peers, share lessons and gain insights in the virtual space.

By initiating this series of Virtual Dialogues, ranging from participatory sessions to deep-dive discussions and high-profile webinars, UICC is working towards a long-term ambition to further stimulate conversations and facilitate connections amongst members beyond in-person interactions.

We believe that our new offer will be a source of energy and greater stability for Members as they move forward in these uncertain times.

We look forward to joining you and your colleagues in constructive and meaningful dialogues with the cancer community.
