Myeloma Patients Europe (MPE) is participating in the Horizon 2020 project, MMPredict, aimed to develop a personalised medicine tool to predict the most effective treatment strategy for individual myeloma patients. To explain the main goals ofMMPredict, MPE filmed a video with some partners working in the project consortium. Now this video,recorded in English, has been translatedinto four additional languages: German, Spanish, Dutch and Italian.

AL amyloidosis is a myeloma-related condition affecting 9 people per 1 million in Europe. Since 2016, Myeloma Patients Europe (MPE) has been working with the AL amyloidosis patient advocacy community to support its growth. This is because AL amyloidosis is very similar to myeloma and it is estimated that around 20% of myeloma patients also develop AL amyloidosis at some point.

MPE is running a short survey with members to understand the role, if any, myeloma patient organisations play in supporting the AL amyloidosis community in Europe. We also want to know if you are aware of any organisations in your country that provide support for AL amyloidosis patients, their caregivers and family members.

We anticipate it will take no longer than 5 minutes to complete.

Once a year MPE holds its Annual General Meeting (AGM). All MPE full members and sponsors are invited to this event which includes a one-and-a-half day Masterclass to provide training to MPE members with scientific sessions, given by the most important specialists in Europe, and advocacy sessions.

The MPE AGM 2019 will be held in Munich (Germany) from 15 to 17 March 2019. Please, find here some information about venue, logistics and the preliminary agenda.
