The session was efficiently run by Jerry Clements, founder of the CML Buster Foundation, USA.

Opening & Update

The Opening was held by the CML Advocates Network co-chair Sarunas Narbutas, taking great pride in welcoming all the attendees, followed by the Executive Director, Denis Costello, presenting a short update of the network's achievement in the past year, important projects and basic data of the CML global patient advocacy activity.

This session ended with a touching tribute to all the CML patient advocates worldwide who have lost their lives in 2020-2021.

DISCUSSION AND AUDIENCE Q&A

CML Horizons Polls
In order to better engage the audience and also include the attendees perspective during the meeting, this year we have implemented during the congress an interactive tool to collect patient advocates' views and make them part of the live conversation by answering short polls.

Networking Lounge
The training day finished with an informal meeting joined by a large number of patient advocates to meet colleagues, friends and share greetings.
