Dear member,

As you know, each 27 September, as part of Blood Cancer Awareness Month, the myeloma community holds European Myeloma Day (EMD) to raise awareness about this disease and highlight the most important issues for European patients, as well as generate data and discuss solutions.

MPE is happy to provide each member with the materials and resources they need to join us on 27 September and raise awareness during EMD.

This year EMD will again focus on early diagnosis and the consequences and impacts of delays in detecting myeloma. The below information can be found in this link: https://www.mpeurope.org/european-myeloma-day.

• Head banners. Different sizes for LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and also a couple of other different sizes for websites
• Quote cards from our CEOs and the MPE president in different sizes for Facebook, Linkedin and Twitter
• Social media cards with different information to share on social media
• Editable versions of the social media cards and quote cards so you can personalise them, add your logo and the quotes of your spokespeople.

To raise awareness among media and the general population, MPE has written a press release which will be sent to media on 27 September. Please find it attached (under embargo) so you can use it as a template, adapt it to your own campaign or translate it to target media in your country. Please, do not distribute the press release until 27 September.

Your support in the dissemination of the EMD materials and messages would be highly appreciated.  Save the date, 27 September, and help us spread the word by sharing or posting the myeloma statistics and quote cards on your social media profiles. You can also change your profile picture on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, WhatsApp or Telegram with the European Myeloma Day logo picture (find it attached).
